Yesterday several of the ladies from our community went to lunch at the Tenaya Lodge just outside of Yosemite National Park.
We had perfect weather to sit outside on the terrace.
Being outside was nice, it was quiet and we were able to visit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
I was very nervous about going on this outing, I didn't sleep well the night before. I really didn't know anyone so I was out of my comfort zone. I decided this would be a good opportunity to meet and get to know some of the ladies from the community
When we got to lunch we were seated with the people we had driven up with, which was okay but there were 3 other tables of ladies I didn't know, soooooo I had to get uncomfortable again. As we were waiting for our lunches I went around to each table to meet them, pushy huh? They were very nice and I hope I can remember most of their names.
All in all it was a good day and I'm glad I went.

Everyone enjoyed their meals, there were burgers, salads, lettuce wraps, calamari and even tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches. After the main course....dessert.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a good time. Pushing yourself out of your "comfortzone" is something that I admire and still have to learn to do. All the eats sounded yummy, but way too much calories for me. The fruit I would try, cheesecake and molten chocolate cake I could live off for a few months. Does the Tenaya do vegie wraps? Well, I guess a salad would do me fine. Anyway, glad you went and tried to meet your neighbour ladies.
