Each Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend our little community has a Peddlers Fair. This year MM found this and brought it home to me:

Looks like too much work for me. I think I'll put it in a nice display case and hang it in my studio.
MM knew I would like it and was sweet to buy it for me.

Nice vintage punch rug hook.
ReplyDeleteLots of people are punch hooking but I like the look of the old fashion way of hooking. Speaking of hooking, I should return to my hooking soon if I ever want to finish my rug. I'm almost done but since I've had visitors for the whole mont of August and beginning of September, I didn't pulled a hoop.

Hi Julia. I've done some small punch needle pieces but don't think I'd try a rug. I'm making the bouquets and boutonnieres for my son's weeding so I haven't been able to hook as much as I like either. Hoping to get back to it soon.
